Sacha Lord, Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater Manchester
Having started his career in music at the legendary Hacienda, Sacha is Co-Founder of Parklife
(Europe’s largest metropolitan festival) and The Warehouse Project, bringing £21m into the Greater
Manchester economy each year.
In 2018, he was appointed Greater Manchester’s Night Time Economy Advisor by Mayor Andy
Burnham.
In this role, Sacha has announced recommendations including later opening hours and the
development of night-time transport links as well as being a leading national voice for the sector.
Sacha’s book, Tales From The Dance Floor, recounting the meteoric rise of Manchester’s house
music scene, is due to be published 11 April 2024.
